A must for any remote sensor's room.
New decoration in my new room - I found an aerial photograph taken by the USGS in 1950 of Albemarle county. At an estate auction, I bid on the glass-framed image. My winning bid - 2$.
Big harvest of tomatoes
The largest tomato - a beefsteak variety. This was as big as my entire hand.

Update

I haven't written in a while - over the past two months of summer, I've taken lost of pictures. A lot of them are of the garden, which is going well. We harvested lettuce all spring and also got a nice crop of Onions. The cantaloupe grew but were eaten by groundhogs! The many tomato plants and hot pepper plants are growing well. The squash and eggplants are also starting to produce fruit. The corn was taken out by some hungry deer, so we will not get any fresh corn this year.

Some pictures are from a hike that Me, Steph, and Ami went on. It was in the 70s and so we decided to do a day hike in Shenandoah.

Steph, Me, her roomate Jen, and Steph's parents went for a day to Busch Gardens in July. There are a few pictures from that trip.

I traveled 1000 miles to go down to visit Moffitt in Cumberland Island similar to my trip in 2005 (there are pictures of that trip in the backlogs). I spent 1 week fishing with him and his family. It was great, and there are a lot of good pictures.

I drove up to Pennsylvania for a brief family reunion with John, Emily, my cousin Flora, Jason, Corinna, Mackenzie, and little Cooper. My grandparents and parents were there as well, and there are a few pictures of that.

I also took my cousin Flora to the beach where I met up with Josh, Dana, Matt, Sadow, and the Cleavers. There are a few pictures from that trip as well. Flora had never been to the beach in the US before, so she enjoyed herself learning how to bodysurf. The waves were huge.

enjoy!
